Silver · Craft, Virtual Art Direction · 47th Annual Telly Awards
A commissioned product film built around a single physical constant, placed in a craftsman's studio, a birthday table, a date night, a cocktail lounge, a movie star's vanity, and the brand's own reveal. The matchbox never moves; the film does.
The director shot the matchboxes in-studio, on a white cyc, under practical light. He drew every shot by hand, frame by frame, before any rendering began. AI came last, used to extend the directorial intent into motion and finished worlds, not to invent them from scratch.
That order is the point: reference photography, then storyboards, then AI, then finish. It let one director carry a full commercial pipeline for a boutique brand with no traditional production crew.
Every scene was boarded against the matchbox first, same composition and light from sketch to screen.

Shot 09Brand RevealLittle Rebel Studios leverages AI through authentic intelligence: human craft and taste lead every frame, and the tools follow.
Andrew Vado spent a decade as a commercial storyboard artist, helping shape award-winning campaigns for brands and agencies. Danny Quick spent a decade building products where culture meets technology, from music and fashion to the creator economy.
Together they co-founded Little Rebel Studios to put the best new tools in service of traditional taste: the same hands that draw the film direct it, all the way to the final frame. This is the first award to carry the studio's name.
